30June2012: Soquel Demo Forest: Saw Pit

After climbing up the usual Highlands road and onto the uphill fire roads and single tracks, we did a couple of awesome trails. Upper Bacon. Then onto Ridge Trail and continued on Saw Pitt. Then the usual fire road uphill 4 mile grind back to the parking lot.

23June2012: 3 Parks joint ride with Tagina group

Started put on Stevens Canyon road by picnic area near reservoir
Climbed Stevens Canyon Rd, Climbed Table Mountain, more clkmning kn Charcoal Rd
Did Bay Area Ridge Trail on Saratoga Gap to Saratoga Gap Vista Point. Returned back.
Hopped onto Long Ridge Open Preserve
Back on Upper Stevens Canyon road via awesome downhill on Grizzly trail.

Started out cool at 60 deg F at 8:45am and peaked at 87 deg F by the time we were done by noontime. Jun's bike was not much up for the ride - broken spoke at the start of the ride, and then a flat tire by the time we were coming down Braille trail

Started at gate PC05 by Higgins Canyon Rd & Purisima Creek Rd
Climbed up Purisima Creek Trail fire rod (up 1 mile, down mile)
Climbed up Harkin Ridge Trail (mostly fire road_
Awesome downhill on North Ridge Trail and Whittemore Gulch Trail on very narrow single tracks and good share of switchbacks
