29 Sep 2012: Hotdog run: Russian Ridge - Saratoga Gap and back!

5,201 calories bit the dust at today’s 5+ Park (28.5 mile) /Hotdog Run ride :-)
5+ Park Lagalag ride 3hr 46 mins. Thank goodness for the hot dog cart at the intersection of Hwys 9 and 35. Before heading back we were able to refuel (pineapple sausage dog is da bomb!) and rehydrate.

8Sep2012: Camp Tamarancho

Riders: Gene, Jun, Chito, Tim & Benny
16 miles at the Boy Scout of Marin Camp Tamarancho.

From Fairfax do a short 2 mile road ride to the trail head.
Alchemist trail, Serpentine trail, Wagon Wheel trail, B-17 Trail, B-17 Extension, Porcupine trail. Rest under the bridge at White's Hill trail. Head back on Porcupine trail and B-17 Extension. Continue the Tamarancho loop on Broken Dam Trail.

Had a sumptious late lunch at Sinugba, Daly City.

Sep 1, 2012: Skeggs at gate CM08

Riders: Gene, Jun, Chito, Tim, Benny
Foggy & chilly start of the ride at 46 deg F. A bit of mud on the trail but not too bad.
9.1 miles 1-1/2 hrs riding time
A bit of mechanical issues: Tim's seat post on his leftie cannondale bike. Gene's rear brake disc pads worn out eating into the rotor.

Overall a nice good not-so-tiring ride.
